The purposel of this course is to facilitate the understanding of project management concepts (from the simplest to the most complicated ones), as well as the manner in which the projects fits (or doesn’t) in an organization – how it impacts the organization’s strategy or the current operations of the projects.

We aim to explain the importance of projects in the development of the organizations (sometimes the projects management can be a competitive advantage), the importance of the people in projects because there are people which work in projects and they aren’t unaware of the role they have and the importance of it in the success of the project.

Following this program the participants will be able to:

  • clearly distinguishing between projects, operations, processes and the way they interact;
  • understand the impact of the organizational structure over the projects and the manner in which a project should be built so that it can be successfully implemented;
  • know and use the main tools for project management (project charter, WBS, Gantt chart, Responsibility Matrix, Risk Response Plan)
  • understand the manner the project teams can be/must be conducted and how to relate with the relevant stakeholders.

The duration of the program proposed by us is two days (about 12 hours) for one group of participants. The program can be customized according to the needs of the target group and the organization, so it may take a day too and it can also be structured on half of days, depending on the availability of participants.

The structure of the program addresses a group of minimum 5 and maximum 15 participants.
The program is based mainly on experiential learning, being interactive and containing numerous examples, exercises and case studies realized by the trainer on the needs and the activity of the organization. The training will be delivered in an interactive and energizing manner with practical exercises linked to the projects / the challenges of the participants.
